Minimum Qualifications 18 years of age High School diploma or equivalent. None for experience. Training (License and/or Certification) REQUIRED Valid Driver’s License Valid State of Texas Class B or CDL Driver’s License (required prior to operating fire apparatus) Current Firefighter certification from Texas Commission on Fire Protection Current TDSHS (Texas Department of State Health Services) EMS (Paramedic) Certification or License Must be able to successfully pass Emergency Services Job Task Simulation Test (prior to going on shift) Must pass NFPA Physical when administered. HIRING PROCESS

Starting salary: $81,390 Annually + $6,000 Paramedic Certification pay . If qualified, there is also Education Pay, Assignment Pay and excellent benefits. Offers of employment are contingent upon the results of a pre-employment controlled substance screening, criminal conviction background assessment, and a physical examination.
