Job Description Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Gastonia, North Carolina. Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Compensation Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Responsibilities As an intensive care unit nurse (RN ICU), you will be monitoring patients with highly unstable, life‑threatening conditions, to ensure they receive the best possible care. You must be able to rapidly assess a patient’s condition and intervene with the appropriate care, managing various life‑support systems like ventilation and heart‑monitoring. Additionally, you will extend emotional support and education to gravely ill patients and their families.
