We are dedicated to our mission that all patients and families entrusted to our care will be treated with the highest level of compassion, respect, and dignity.Our CultureOur culture is cultivated using the following values:Integrity: We are honest and professional.Trust: We count on each other.Excellence: We strive to always do our best and look for ways to improve and excel.Accountability: We accept responsibility for our actions, attitudes, and mistakes.Mutual Respect: We treat others the way we want to be treated.QualificationsOn an Average Day You Will:(includes but not limited to)Perform tasks associated with operational planning and budgetingEnsure organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirementsMonitor business operations to insure financial stabilityEvaluate hospice services and personnel using measurable outcomes and objectivesEstablish and maintain effective channels of communication including integration or technology, as applicableEnsure hospice personnel stay current with clinical information and practicesEnsure adequate and appropriate staffingProvide staff development including orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing and quality assessment performance improvementEnsure that interdisciplinary care is providedEnsure supportive services are available to personnelEnsure coordination with other departments, services and senior management, as appropriateEnsure staff and organization stay current on local/national hospice issues and trendsEnsure that appropriate service policies and procedures are developed and implemented to accomplish identified outcomesOther duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Health Care preferred, or equivalent direct work experience • Must have three (3) years of experience in health care management, five (5) years preferredAbility to communicate and facilitate training via phone, WebEx, or in-personWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EMR systems.Must demonstrate an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel • Must possess an ability to deal tactfully with the community • Must possess a knowledge of corporate business management • Must understand hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group • Must possess an intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice CertificationMust be able to travel and work flexible hoursMust be willing to travel to hospice locations as assigned and be flexible with working hoursWe Got the Perks:Tuition ReimbursementPTO and Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and moreHSA & 401(k) availableMileage Reimbursement for applicable positionsAdvanced training programsPassionate company culture committed to the highest standard of care in the hospice industryJoin a Team that embraces the reverence of life!EEOC StatementBristol Hospice is an equal-opportunity employer.
