Job Title

Travel: RN - PCU - Night

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit serving a 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry adult patient population
• Monitor and interpret EKG/telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Manage patients requiring trachs, vents, and drips in a stepdown ICU environment
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 and float to other units as needed upon request
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• EKG certification or a minimum of 1 year of EKG interpretation experience
• Minimum 1 year of Critical Care or Progressive Care experience
• Ability to work weekends as needed and float upon request

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and drip management
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, patient-focused approach
