As a Barista, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our customers through your exceptional coffee‑making skills and friendly demeanor. Responsibilities Prepare and Serve Beverages: Craft and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring each drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to all customers. Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on customer preferences. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar and surrounding areas clean, organized, and well‑stocked at all times. This includes regularly cleaning equipment, wiping down counters, and restocking supplies. Cash Handling: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, following proper cash handling procedures. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our coffee offerings, including origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, to effectively communicate with customers and make recommendations. Upselling: Actively promote special items, seasonal beverages, and retail products to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment. Requirements Previous Experience: Prior experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred, but not required. We are willing to train individuals with a passion for coffee and a strong work ethic. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow recipes and procedures to maintain quality and consistency. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Passion for Coffee: Genuine enthusiasm for coffee and a desire to share that passion with others. Team Player: Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service.
