Pay Rate: $20–$23/hour
Location: Pasadena, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Assistant Director in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, staying organized, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly while providing strong administrative and communication support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Assistant Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments using Outlook
- Arrange travel accommodations and itineraries as needed
- Communicate with internal PASC staff and partner organizations via email and phone
- Maintain, organize, and update filing systems and records
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, projects, and ongoing departmental needs
- Support webinar and virtual meeting preparation, including materials and logistics
- Assist with general office coordination, including calls, emails, and documentation
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience supporting a call center or high-volume communication environment preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
