Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 1-2 years of OR experience and AHA certifications.

Job Details

• Work in the Operating Room/Surgery Unit of an acute care hospital,
• 3-bed unit serving all patient ages,
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM,
• Every other weekend or as-needed weekend coverage required,
• On-call requirement of 6 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month,
• Floating required on an as-needed basis,
• Uses Cerner EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB,
• 1-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required,
• Specialized OR nursing skills required, as this is not a general floor unit,

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care within a hospital surgical unit,
• Scrubs are provided; casual wear is not permitted,
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate,
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
