We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. The therapist will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs aimed at improving mobility, relieving pain, increasing strength, and preventing deformity in patients suffering from disease or injury. Services are provided across the full continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. The role requires compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy routines, discharge instructions, and community resources.
• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge instructions in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and effective communication with team members.
• Comply with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist; BLS certification required upon hire.
• Effective communication skills, customer-focused approach, team-oriented mindset, and basic computer proficiency.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, with two weekends per month.
• Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
• Benefits include competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, referral bonus program, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and travel-related reimbursements where applicable.

Additional Notes:

• Wellstar does not allow block scheduling.
• No more than 3 days of RTO.
• Orientation hours are non-billable (24 hours).
