Quality Inspector Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $ 52,000.00 to $ 72,800.00 / annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)

Job Details:

• Operate a portable articulating measuring arm to perform dimensional inspections on fabricated, machined, and welded components
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformance
• Create alignments, establish datums, and perform accurate measurements using portable CMM technology and inspection software
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, final, and receiving inspections to ensure parts meet customer and engineering specifications
• Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation within the company's quality management system
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or dimensional issues while supporting corrective actions and root-cause investigations
• Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment, ensuring all inspection tools are accurate, properly maintained, and compliant with quality standards

Quality Inspector Qualifications:

• Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using a portable articulating measuring arm (preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of GD&T Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED
