Quality Roving Inspector 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Roving Inspector will perform shop in-process inspection and approves outgoing product by performing essential requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Reads drawings and blueprints to effectively qualify machined products.
• Uses basic measuring equipment (Calipers, micrometers).
• Reads and interprets Control Plans.
• Performs cell product audits and documents inspection results.
• Performs Final Audits before shipping to customer.
• Performs outgoing product audits before shipping to outside operations.
• Maintains records of all measurements.
• Use SPC for control of critical features where required.
• Communicate effectively with Quality and Production Departments.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• High energy level
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and meeting deadlines
• Positive attitude and ability to handle highly confidential information
• Ability to reflect positive attitude and disciplined work ethic

2ND SHIFT Hours: Full time, No Less than 40 hours per week, 4:00 pm - 4:00 am (paid lunch) Mon-Thurs. 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm Fridays (as work requires)
