CNC MachinistThe Job Center Staffing is hiring associates on 2nd and 3rd shifts for CNC Machinist in the Dayton, OH area. This is a great opportunity for a direct hire placement with a great company providing six-month auto salary increases until topping out, quarterly attendance bonuses, and various in-house training programs!Compensation / Shift/ Benefits of CNC Machinist$60,881.60 - $72,508.802nd Shift 3:30pm-12am OR 3rd Shift 11pm-7amBenefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTOResponsibilities of CNC MachinistProgram editing, loading, running, and full QC check, all independently.Set up and run CNC machine (CNC lathe, CNC mill, or 5-axis machine) using good machining, quality, and safety practices.Adjust offsets for tools to hold tolerances as low as .0005.Setup and use precision measuring equipment such as.0001 indicators, dial or electronic bore gages, gage blocks, inside and outside micrometer, depth mics, dial calipers, etc.Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.Requirements of CNC Machinist5+ years of experience on CNC mills or lathes.Capable of setting up, modifying programs, running, and using QC gauges to check the part independently.Must be able to run independently within a month of being hired on - not a 'button pushing' role. Must be a true machinist.
