• 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Are you an experienced Horizontal Milling Machinist who enjoys setting up, running, and troubleshooting complex machining operations? We're seeking skilled machinists to join our growing team and help manufacture precision components in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

This role is ideal for machinists who take pride in producing quality parts, solving machining challenges, and continuously improving processes while working with advanced Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs).

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs)
• Perform tooling changes, fixture setups, work offset adjustments, and first-piece inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications
• Machine precision components to tight tolerances and quality requirements
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
• Adjust tooling and machine offsets to maintain quality and productivity
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues
• Monitor tool life and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Complete production and inspection documentation accurately
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to achieve performance goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Experience setting up and operating Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience with fixtures, tooling, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and maintain high quality standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Makino, Okuma, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Haas, Fanuc, or similar equipment and controls
• Multi-axis machining experience
• CNC programming or G-code editing experience
• Experience with pallet-changing HMCs and high-mix manufacturing
• Technical machining education, apprenticeship, or trade school training
