Registered Nurse Transition Level II to Level III NICU

South Shore Health is proud to offer this unique, structured opportunity for experienced Nurses to transition from Level II to Level III NICU! This supportive transition program involves didactic education, intensive bedside training, and preceptorship to close the knowledge gap between Level II and Level III NICU care. This structured program does not allow for scheduling flexibility, as nurses will move through the program as a cohort. Please note the scheduling structure below. Start Date: August 24 Nurses will work 36 hours per week. The first 6 weeks are day shift. The final week is night shift. Once orientation is complete, RNs will work 36 hour per week, Day/Night rotation with every third weekend. This program is only open to candidates with a minimum of 2 years successful experience working in a Level 2 or Level IB setting. Must be NRP certified, and have experience attending live births.
