General Surgeons perform a wide range of surgical procedures and manage post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform surgical operationson various body systems.
Manage patient care pre- andpost-surgery.
Collaborate with otherspecialists as needed.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Completion of generalsurgery residency.
Board certification in generalsurgery.
Strong technical skills fordiverse surgical procedures.
Good communication skills for patient interaction.
