The diverse nature of our engagements creates challenging and rewarding opportunities for growth!Compensation range for this role is $24 - 34 an hour, depending on experience.For qualified candidates outside of the Baton Rouge area, relocation assistance may be available.Position OverviewAccess Sciences Corporation is hiring a Records Analyst to participate in client projects across our information and records management consulting practice and serve and grow as subject matter expert in our changing field. Details of this role include:Support records management activities across multiple client engagements, from initial assessments through implementation and ongoing supportAssist in planning and facilitation of data gathering sessions with stakeholders to assess records management needsHelp compile and analyze survey results and recommend practical, scalable solutionsAssist in developing and updating records and information lifecycle processes to align with evolving business needsDraft and maintain department-specific records management procedures to support policy compliance across different client environmentsConduct legal and regulatory research to support records retention decisions and assist in developing and maintaining records retention schedulesDevelop training materials and support delivery of training sessions across various stages of client engagementsSupport taxonomy and metadata management activities, including development, updates, and feedback trackingConduct onsite and offsite records inventories to support assessments, implementations, and ongoing compliance effortsAs a subject matter expert, contribute to content development or presentations (e.g., develop white papers and blogs and attend conferences and industry events)QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree required1+ years work experience in a records-related role; a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS)) degree, field-specific certifications (e.g. Certified Records Analyst) or other information and records management-oriented degrees may substitute for the required work experienceProficiency using Microsoft Office product suiteExperience:Experience with records management processes, such as retention schedules, classification schemes, and lifecycle management preferred.Experience with records management or document management systems (e.g. Hyland Onbase, IBM FileNet, M-Files, or similar) preferred.Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements for records and willingness to learn how they apply in practiceExperience working and contributing as an active member of a team, supporting projects, sharing insights, and assisting with tasks across client engagementsCandidates with experience managing information, documentation, compliance requirements, business processes, or structured data in other professional settings are encouraged to apply.Skills and Abilities:Able to engage and establish positive relationships with all levels of the organizationTeam player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectivesHighly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiativeWilling to listen, learn, and incorporate feedback to continuously improve performance and deliverablesStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to be flexible, manage ambiguity, demonstrate critical thinking and work effectively in fluid environmentsAbility to carry out multiple priorities in an organized and efficient mannerExhibit calmness and empathy when resolving client or personnel issuesDemonstrated ability to organize large volumes of information and maintain attention to detail.Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and regulatory requirements quickly.Experience interpreting policies, procedures, standards, or regulations and applying them consistently.Strong analytical and research skills, including gathering information from multiple sources and identifying trends or recommendations.Experience facilitating meetings, interviewing stakeholders, or gathering business requirements.Curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and willingness to develop subject matter expertiseExperience documenting processes, workflows, or operating proceduresLicense and Certifications:License or certification in Records Management, Information Management, or otherwise relevant discipline preferred.Relevant professional certification such as Certified Records Analyst (CRA)Information Governance Professional (IGP)Certified Information Professional (CIP)Records Management Certificate or similar professional credentialsTransferable Backgrounds WelcomeWe recognize that successful Records Analysts may come from a variety of professional backgrounds.
