Provides behavioral health services in conjunction with staff therapist, psychologist and psychiatrist./ph3Major Duties And Responsibilities/h3pAnalytical and Critical Thinking/pulliProvides comprehensive assessment of patients and as appropriate their families/liliCompletes the history of the present illness and review past histories./liliProvides individual, group, family and pharmacologic therapeutic interventions that are evidence based./li/ulpProblem Solving and Decision Making/pulliProvides crisis intervention and referral for psychiatric hospitalization./liliMakes referrals for further diagnostic psychological or medical testing as needed./li/ulpCommunication/pulliInterview patients to obtain insight into their problems/li/ulpCompliance, Policy, and Procedure/pulliProvides appropriate patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in accordance with acceptable Standards of Care and Regulatory Requirements./liliAdhere to productivity standards and departmental policies and procedures./li/ulpTeamwork/pulliCollaborate with primary therapist on treatment plan development./liliWorks in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans./liliPrescribes psychiatric medication when needed/li/ulh3Skills And Abilities/h3pMust be able to give accurate DSM diagnosis, to use a variety of treatment and pharmacological techniques with a range of diagnoses./ph3Education And/Or Experience/h3pEducation: Masters of Nursing degree and current/ppLicensure: Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Maryland/pp2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting/ppExperience with telemedicine preferred./ppOther Skills: Basic computer knowledge required/ppCompensation:/pulliContract pay of $80-85 hourly/li/ul/div
