We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Bilingual Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist. This isn’t a typical call center job – we are an inbound contact center helping utility customers save money, make their homes more energy efficient, and improve our climate through change. Responsibilities Support multiple programs using multiple platforms, providing a range of services including customer service, visit scheduling, customer enrollment, program offering education, tech support, online support, and status updates. Handle inbound or outbound voice calls and/or chat/email interactions with customers. Expertly navigate a script, using verbatim, talking points, or simple usage guides as required. Ensure each call meets the specific needs of the individual utility customer. Monitor personal performance data and progress accessible in real time. Support and troubleshoot technical inquiries and customer questions. Maintain a committed schedule with set lunches and breaks and perform within performance metrics. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Ability to type 35+ WPM. No attendance or punctuality concerns. Ability to thrive in an intensive environment, balancing customer support while navigating multiple platforms simultaneously. Minimum of 6 months of previous experience within a customer‑facing environment required; Call Center experience in an inbound/outbound sales environment preferred. Sales‑oriented with a focus on customer service satisfaction and a “How can I help you?” attitude. Remote Work Requirements Workstation: dedicated home office space free of personal disruptions. Internet: minimum 10 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download, 99% latency. Ability to hardwire internet and plug directly into router. Two power connections available. Must be on the phone throughout the entirety of the shift – no flexibility to answer the door or be on‑call for others during scheduled work hours. Compensation $18.75 per hour plus $65 per month internet stipend. Salary determination is based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, and certain certifications.
