About the Position

Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro/ENT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years OR RN experience required License: Nebraska RN State License preferred Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience with craniotomy with aneurysms and craniotomy with tumor is essential. - Experience in Neuro skills is preferred. - Experience with a variety of surgical cases including lap chole, lap appy, ex lap, I&D, bariatric, colorectal, PEG & trach, and Da Vinci cases is required. - Da Vinci experience is highly preferred. Description: Registered Nurses are needed for the operating room specialty in neuro and ENT. Day shift with possible night shift rotation. There may be off-shifting required once every four-week scheduling period. On average, weeknight call requirements are 1-2 nights per week. Weekend call requirements are approximately every 4-5 weeks, 24 hours on Saturday or Sunday. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. 100% nicotine-free facility. Scrubs are provided by the facility. The ideal candidate must have experience in the following cases: - Craniotomy with aneurysms - Craniotomy with tumor - Septoplasty - Mastoidectomy - Tympanoplasty - Tracheotomy - Fusions - Laminectomy - Corpectomy This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and teamwork within the operating room environment.
