Registered Nurse (RN) - Float ED - Emergency Department - $46-67 per hour

Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) Float in the Emergency Department (ED) at St. Luke's Health System, Boise, Idaho. Ongoing position, 36 hours per week on flexible 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient‑centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree. Experience: Minimum 2 years as a registered nurse. License: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice. Compensation & Benefits Tiered compensation rate based on experience. Food stipend of $100 per week for out‑of‑area nurses. Housing allowance or room at one of St. Luke’s owned condos/apartments. Travel time to and from the assignment and mileage reimbursement. Typical assignments: 13 weeks in length at any of 8 St. Luke’s sites, with possibility of assignments as short as one week.
