Accounting Manager CPA

About the Role This is not a traditional back-office accounting job. You'll be stepping into a high-growth company where you own the books, build the processes, and have a direct line to leadership. You’ll run month-end close, own financial reporting, manage reconciliations, and build the internal controls and processes that a growing company needs. What You’ll Do Own the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage account reconciliations and ensure accuracy across the general ledger Build and maintain internal controls and accounting policies Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors Identify and implement process improvements across accounting and financial reporting Support lender reporting, compliance, and other finance operations as the company grows Collaborate directly with leadership on financial planning and operational decision-making What We’re Looking For Must-have: Active CPA license (or in progress) 3–7+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements preparation Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy Ability to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, Monday through Friday Preferred: Big Four experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) National or strong regional public accounting firm background (RSM, BDO, Grant Thornton, CLA, or similar) Audit or assurance experience Interest in moving from public accounting into a private, high-growth operating company Experience building or improving accounting processes and internal controls Compensation & Schedule Competitive salary based on experience On-site, Fort Lauderdale — Monday through Friday Company Promise Exotic Car Trader will equip you to grow both professionally and personally.
