Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Pediatric Progressive Care Unit (PPCU) in Tucson, AZ this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and age-specific care needs.
• Ability to assess and respond to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress and sepsis.
• Provide specialized intermediate-level care to pediatric patients who are too critical for a general pediatric unit but do not require intensive care.
• Assist with post-surgical recovery, respiratory distress management, cardiac monitoring, and chronic illness care.

Qualifications:

• AZ Registered Nurse license
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) preferred
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN-Pediatric) certification preferred
• BLS Certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

• Pay: $2,191.02 - $2,258.78 / week
• Location: Tucson, AZ
• Assignment Length: 13
• Shift: Night 3x12 - up to 36.00 hours per week
• Setting: Hospital
• Workplace: On-site
