Corporate Accountant | Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid) | Confidential Search Our client is a well established global entertainment and interactive technology company with a growing, high visibility product portfolio. This is a confidential search conducted on behalf of the employer. This is a hybrid role based in Fort Lauderdale with flexibility for partial remote work. The Corporate Accountant will own general ledger accuracy, journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month end and year end close. You'll work closely with the finance leadership team on financial reporting, cash flow tracking, budgeting support, and variance analysis, and coordinate directly with external auditors on tax and regulatory filings. What you'll do Maintain general ledger records and prepare journal entries Own account reconciliations and support month end/year end close Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Coordinate with external auditors and support tax and regulatory filings Partner cross functionally to provide financial insight to the business Help improve financial processes and internal controls as the company scales What you bring Strong grounding in corporate accounting: general ledger, reconciliations, close process Experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and strong Excel skills Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit/tax compliance Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
