Travel RN - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. The nurse will utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. Critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership are demonstrated in planning for safe delivery of care.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor and delivery patients.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Licensed to practice in Alabama (no NURSYS hits).
