Technical Director

JOB PURPOSE: As a member of HTC’s Operations Team, the Technical Director will increase functionality of all HTC Departments by implementing best practices, increasing productivity, and reducing expenses in the areas of technology, network security, and production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deploy technologies and create networking systems across all HTC Departments that are easy to manage and maintain and implement processes that are documented and repeatable. Review all production equipment and optimize the configurations to reduce potential points of failure, ensure ease of operation, and improve the worship experience for the in‑house and online congregants. Develop an environment that creates volunteer engagement to reduce operating expenses and more importantly foster ownership amongst the volunteers. Other duties as assigned. PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES Audio ProTools, console configuration, system configuration, stage setup of instruments, in‑ear monitors, microphones, batteries, cabling, and patching before events and related rehearsals Running live sound optional, but not required for every event Video (ProPresenter, Projectors, TVs) Lighting Broadcast (Streaming) Documentation Implementation Stage and Riser Design (Including Point Load Calculations) Installation (Equipment, Wiring, Etc.) Stage Setup and Cabling DSP Programming RF Frequency Allocation Equipment Recommendations and Price Negotiations. OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES Data Network Design and Management Voice Network Design and Management Audio Network Design and Management Video Network Design and Management Network Security Network Storage (Local Redundant Storage for Video and Audio Files) Video Surveillance Design and Management Access Control Design and Management Device Management and Maintenance (Computers, Printers, Tablets, Etc.) Microsoft 365 and Teams Implementation (Including Data Migration for Files and Email) Website Domain Name Management (Price Negotiations) Contract Negotiations for Internet Access, Voice Services, etc. Planning Center Online experience preferred ESSENTIAL EXPECTATIONS Be a part of the church-wide events Participate in HTC team meetings Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality Be flexible due to the nature of the role #J-18808-Ljbffr
