Physical Requirements - The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.

Shift - Monday Friday, Day Shift; typically 8:00 am 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk)

Job Summary - This position will be located off-campus in Frankfort, KY at UKHCFrankfort. This position is responsible for coordinating patient services, which includes, but is not limited to, gathering medical records, scanning, making referrals to other healthcare facilities, coordinating and scheduling multiple appointments, and answering phone calls. The person in this position must be adept at working within a multidisciplinary team and have strong interpersonal communication skills. Medical terminology knowledge/experience is preferred, as is customer service experience in healthcare. This position will also assist in supporting some other ambulatory primary care clinics.

Preferred Education/Experience - Prefer at least 6 months of customer service, medical office, or care coordination experience.
