Senior Consultant - Sage Intacct Implementation, Not for Profit

Overview Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm with a global footprint across major U.S. regions and key financial centers worldwide. Responsibilities Manage multiple Sage Intacct implementation projects simultaneously to achieve on‑time, on‑budget delivery and high customer satisfaction. Execute the full implementation lifecycle: collaborative consultation; requirements definition; solution design; configuration; unit and integration testing; training; data cleansing and migration. Maintain deep knowledge of Sage Intacct, including advanced modules, and stay current on product enhancements. Configure and implement Sage Intacct based on a thorough understanding of customer‑specific processes and industry best practices. Develop, deploy, and monitor implementation project plans, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget while optimizing return on investment. Co‑operate and mentor less experienced implementation resources; provide on‑the‑job coaching and mentoring. Conduct end‑user training at all levels and translate system functionality into business requirements. Document business requirements into configurable software solutions and best‑practice process flowcharts. Respond to technical support issues related to system implementation. Design and build industry‑specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards. Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Customer Success to coordinate project execution. Deliver clear, concise and friendly communications; provide high‑quality service and leadership aligned with customer goals. Contribute to and use the organization’s knowledge repository of deployment best practices; enhance tools and repeatability of service delivery. Mentor Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects on processes, Sage Intacct modules and project management. Serve as an escalation point for project issues. Build strong relationships internally and with clients; network to support business development. Support the growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly’s Care and Teach philosophy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or MIS (with a general understanding of accounting terms). 3+ years of consulting and implementing Sage Intacct. Experience with nonprofit organizations strongly preferred. Consulting experience end‑to‑end through the software delivery lifecycle, following a process‑based methodology, or experience as a system end‑user undergoing implementation or upgrade. Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.). Strong time‑management, communication, relationship‑building, collaboration and problem‑solving skills. Strong leadership, project‑management, organizational and analytical skills; initiative and adaptability. Microsoft Suite skills. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $85,910 – $162,890 (dependent on experience, qualifications, certifications, location, and work arrangements).
