We are committed to excellence, precision, and fostering a collaborative work environment that values expertise and growth.Job SummaryBARBCO is seeking a hands-on, operationally focused Accounting Manager to support the financial reporting, manufacturing accounting, cost visibility, budgeting, ERP/MRP reporting, Power BI analytics, pricing strategy, and department-level decision-making support needs of the company.This role reports to the CFO and supports the President, and BARBCO department directors by providing accurate reports, financial tools, data analysis, and business insight. Department leaders remain responsible for operational decisions; this role helps ensure those decisions are supported by facts, data, budgets, project visibility, margin analysis, and financial discipline.The Accounting Manager will play an important role in strengthening BARBCO’s financial structure as the company continues improving its ERP/MRP systems, cost center reporting, inventory visibility, OEM plant costing, dealer pricing strategy, and overall operational accountability.DutiesAccounting & Financial ReportingSupport daily accounting activities, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, AP/AR visibility, budgeting, and forecastingAssist the CFO with accurate financial reporting, operational analysis, reporting discipline, and process improvementHelp develop financial reports, KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards that improve leadership visibilitySupport internal controls, approval workflows, accounting accuracy, and scalable financial processesManufacturing, Inventory & Cost AccountingSupport inventory costing, job costing, standard costing, production cost tracking, and margin analysisAssist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, inventory controls, and cost accuracySupport BARBCO’s OEM plant costing visibility, including overhead absorption, under-absorbed and over-absorbed overhead, labor and burden rates, production variances, and plant-level profitabilityHelp identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, margin risks, and improvement opportunities across manufacturing operationsERP/MRP, Cost Centers & GL StructureAssist with ERP/MRP financial structure setup, including practical Cost Centers and associated GL account structuresHelp create a balanced reporting structure that is detailed enough to provide useful business visibility without creating unnecessary administrative complexitySupport financial reporting by department, project, product line, inventory category, CapEx vs. OpEx, and operational functionHelp maintain consistency, discipline, and scalability within the ERP/MRP financial structure as BARBCO growsPower BI, Analytics & Department SupportLeverage Power BI, ERP/MRP reporting tools, Excel, and financial analytics to support department-level visibilitySupport BARBCO department directors with budgets, KPI tracking, spend analysis, project tracking, CapEx vs. OpEx planning, and variance reportingProvide directors with reports, tools, and insights so they can make informed decisions based on facts, analytics, trends, and operational performanceAssist departments with report generation, financial interpretation, business insights, and data-driven planningDealer Pricing, Margin & Sales SupportWork closely with Dealer Sales, leadership, Purchasing, Operations, and other key stakeholders to support smart pricing strategies for dealer parts, equipment, tooling, and aftermarket productsSupport OEM margin protection, pricing reviews, pricing increases, cost analysis, freight impacts, dealer profitability trends, and pricing model improvementsHelp improve visibility into parts and equipment profitability, dealer pricing structuresPurchasing & Operational SupportProfessional Development & Light TravelQualificationsAccounting, finance, business, or related degree preferred3+ years of accounting or finance experience preferredManufacturing accounting experience strongly preferredExperience with cost accounting, inventory, job costing, standard costing, ERP/MRP systems, budgeting, and reporting preferredPower BI, Excel, dashboarding, analytics, or business intelligence experience preferredStrong understanding of financial statements, GL structure, cost centers, margin analysis, and operational reportingStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to support multiple departments with accurate reporting and practical financial guidanceIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and business-minded.
