AMS Design Verification Manager at Texas Instruments Santa Clara, CA

AMS Design Verification Manager Texas Instruments is seeking a Design Verification Manager at its Santa Clara, CA location. In this role, you will direct and guide the activities of a design verification function, evaluate final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives, prepare and present reports outlining the outcome of technical projects, and make recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. You will also select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Responsibilities Manage an AMS Design Verification team with execution ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing. Actively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leaders. Drive accountability and execution excellence within the team. Mentor the team, drive increasing capabilities of the team and performance management of the team. Make assignments for team members, provide guidance as needed, develop schedules and monitor progress throughout the project. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enable successful execution of products to production. Serve as a verification subject‑matter expert for interfacing with customers for custom chips. Drive innovation and excellence in verification methodologies not just for the custom projects for this team but for TI at large. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of AMS verification experience. Semiconductor Design Verification experience of Analog Mixed Signal products utilizing SystemVerilog, Verilog‑A / Verilog‑AMS. Experience with Analog regressions in ADE‑L/ADE‑XL or Maestro. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in managing or leading high performance DV teams. Ability to generate detailed chip verification plans, with appropriate resource allocation. Experience writing models for analog circuits and systems, either in Verilog‑AMS or real number models in SystemVerilog. Deep knowledge of Analog circuit simulators for debug and optimization of runtime. Extensive track record of success with chip‑level verification execution for new product development. High sense of responsibility and ownership. Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally. Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work directly with customers. Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results. Strong time management skills that enable on‑time project delivery. Base Compensation Base pay range: $162,000 – $289,000 per year.
