Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical Care training Pressor medication management Art line management Critical drip management Description: This position is for an experienced Registered Nurse in the ICU. The unit has 22 beds and 58 staff members. Day shift includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 1 Unit Secretary, and 11 Nurses. Night shift includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and 11 Nurses. Patient ratios are set at 1:2. Equipment used includes CRRT, Vents, MTP, Hemospheres, Art line, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, and TTM. The EMR system utilized is Meditech. Candidates are encouraged to possess skills in critical drip management and art line experience. Typical procedures performed include bronchoscopy and CVC and art line insertion. The ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable. Weekend shifts are required, with a commitment of 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Attendance policies must be adhered to, ensuring meeting schedule commitments.
