About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified TICU RN in Humble, Texas, 77339!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Critical Care training Pressor medication management Art line management Critical drip management Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 10 beds and 28 staff members. Day shift includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and 5 nurses. Night shift includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator and 5 nurses. Patient ratios are 1:2. Equipment used includes CRRT, Ventilators, MTP, Hemospheres, Arterial lines, and Targeted Temperature Management. The EMR system is Meditech Expanse. Candidates must have critical care training and management experience with pressor medications and arterial lines. Preferred candidates will also have experience with critical drip management and arterial line procedures. Typical procedures performed in the unit include bronchoscopy, central venous catheter insertion, and arterial line insertion. The ideal candidate will be flexible. Four weekend shifts are required during a four-week schedule period. Candidates must follow attendance policy and meet schedule commitments. About Cynet Health
