Civil Project Engineer - Transportation

We are currently searching for an experienced Civil Project Engineer - Transportation to support our Southwest Region located in either Houston, McKinney, Rockwall, Round Rock, San Antonio, or Tyler, TXYou will be responsible for geometric design projects including but not limited to TXDOT and local government.What You'll Be DoingPrepares and modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental studies, and designs for projectsEvaluates need for design changes and makes appropriate recommendationsConsults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing and scheduling of construction activitiesUses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsAdheres to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manualSubmits documents to federal, state, and local agencies for code compliance review and obtains permits requiredWhat You Need To HaveB.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program4+ years relevant experienceLicensed PEAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
