Senior Technical Recruiter

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment across the enterprise. In this consultative role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, translating market research, competitive intelligence, and compensation data into actionable hiring strategies.To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:Expertise in technical and engineering hiring, including evolving and competitive talent marketsExperience influencing (with or without authority) and building long-term, trust-based partnershipsProven ability in leveraging data to guide decision-making and solve complex hiring challengesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to technical, executive, and cross-functional audiencesDemonstrated commitment to delivering a high-quality candidate experienceBonus points for:A solutions-oriented mindset, with examples of designing or driving innovative recruiting strategiesExcitement around & experience levering generative AI, agentic AI and/or AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, HiredScore, Paradox)Proficiency with Workday or similar enterprise ATS platforms.Willingness to travel to our Chattanooga, TN headquarters occasionally (although this role is otherwise remote)If our mission – peace of mind through better health – resonates, we hope you’ll apply.Notes:Sponsorship is not available for this role.Travel to our Chattanooga, Tennessee headquarters will be required for final interviewsJob ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic partner to hiring managers by educating, advising, and counseling on recruiting strategies, labor market conditions, and best practices aligned to organizational goals.Lead full-life cycle recruiting for professional and hard-to-fill positions, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer processes.Develop and execute internal and external sourcing strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidate pools.Apply advanced recruiting techniques and methodologies to identify and engage candidates with complex skill requirements.Manage relationships with third-party recruiting vendors and oversee related contracts and deliverables.Conduct and coordinate interviews, facilitate selection decisions, and extend and negotiate employment offers.Job QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
