Family Support Specialist (7784)

Position Details Location: South Mountain Clinic, 3540 E Baseline Road, Phoenix, AZ 85042. Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week. Travel: Up to 50%. Shift: Day Shift. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Salary: Starting at $17.00 per hour, DOE. Responsibilities Facilitate family group activities that support and strengthen members and their families. Encourage, assist, and support family members in expressing their perspective throughout assessment, service planning and delivery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team working with individuals diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness or General Mental Health diagnoses under Court Ordered Treatment. Create and facilitate a variety of family group activities that support a family’s journey of recovery. Qualifications Shared experience: personally (or through a family member) utilized private or publicly funded behavioral health services, including substance abuse treatment or experiencing a family perspective of recovery. Completion of Peer Support Training and Peer Support Certification. Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute. Must obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current Arizona driver’s license and satisfactory 39‑month Motor Vehicle Record. Must be at least 21 years of age. Minimum of 1-year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol.
