Step into a vital role supporting junior high students as an Educational Diagnostician on a full-time, onsite contract running from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027. This opportunity centers around Burnett Junior High's 7th and 8th grade population, with an estimated caseload of 175–180 students. You’ll work closely with school staff, including a dedicated ARD facilitator, to ensure students receive the tailored educational support they need.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Educational Diagnostician Endorsement (status must be up-to-date and verifiable via TEA)
• Experience as an Educational Diagnostician and/or Special Education Teacher within school settings
• In-depth knowledge of assessment tools, ARD meeting procedures, and Texas special education laws
• Strong organizational and communication skills when collaborating with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students for special education eligibility and educational needs, using a broad range of assessment resources
• Prepare, interpret, and present assessment reports to stakeholders, articulating recommendations clearly
• Support and attend ARD meetings as a key contributor, with administrative assistance from a campus ARD facilitator
• Consult with educators and families to design and implement effective educational interventions
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
