Residence Hall Director

Job Title Residence Hall Director Responsibilities The Residence Hall Director (RHD) is responsible for overseeing the operations, residential experience, and community engagement within a residence hall or complex. Utilizing a Residential Curriculum, the RHD fosters an environment which allows and encourages personal development, considerate communities, and a sense of global responsibility in honoring and advocating for all individuals. Initiate, plan, and implement community development events. Supervise student staff and advise student organizations. Manage residence hall operations, including budget oversight. Provide student support through advising on social, academic, and behavioral concerns, and adjudicating conduct cases. Handle crisis management, conflict resolution, and on‑duty rotations. This role requires living on campus with on‑duty rotations and weekend and evening hours. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education. 3 years of relevant experience. Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or related field. 4–8 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in Residence Life. Additional Information We anticipate a summer start time frame for this role. Compensation Starting pay range: $44,400 – $58,000.
