Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations while emphasizing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Continuously communicate with physicians regarding patients' conditions and care needs.
Assist with equipment maintenance and manage inventory.
Ensure procedure rooms and equipment are functioning and ready for use.
Obtain necessary supplies for individual cases and support the needs of the Cardiac Catheterization team.
Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Continuously assess and record patients' conditions while in the lab.
Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and maintained.
Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
