Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant / Oncology (BMT/ONC)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy treatments, and blood products in accordance with facility policy; only RNs with documented competency and a completed ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (15.25 contact hours) may administer chemotherapy
• Perform cell transplant support procedures, including CAR-T and bone marrow transplant-related care
• Conduct frequent lab draws and monitor patient responses to treatment
• Maintain safe handling, administration, and disposal of antineoplastic/hazardous medications per established policy
• Operate Alaris pumps and document care accurately within Meditech EMR
• Collaborate within a team-based environment maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate™ – full certificate (15.25 contact hours) required; the 9-contact-hour fundamental certificate is not accepted
• Demonstrated competency in chemotherapy administration (TCT experience required)
• Ability to adhere to unit dress code: navy scrubs; no artificial or gel nails; masks required in patient care areas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience
• CAR-T therapy experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Detail-oriented, team-focused approach to patient care
