Staff Pharmacist - Naperville, Illinois

A healthcare facility in Naperville, IL is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract starting March 23rd. This role involves a mix of day, evening, and rotating weekend shifts on a 3/3 schedule. Ideal candidates will have recent inpatient pharmacy experience and familiarity with EPIC EMR.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy duties including checking and verifying medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate medication preparation and handling
• Verify intravenous (IV) medications for correct preparation and administration
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to support optimal patient care

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
• Valid Illinois pharmacist license
• Ability to work a 3/3 schedule including rotating weekends

Schedule:

• 3 days on, 3 days off rotating shifts with a mix of day and evening hours
• Rotating weekends required
