Cook – Full Time Williamsburg Post Acute & Rehabilitation – Williamsburg, VA Join a team that cares as much as you do! We’re currently seeking a Cook to join our Dietary team. If you love cooking and take pride in creating meals that make people feel at home, we’d love to meet you! Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines. Ensure meals are served on time and at the proper temperature and presentation. Follow portion control and safe food-handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards. Assist with inventory, food storage, and supply rotation. Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and team to meet resident needs and preferences. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience as a cook in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant setting preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures required. Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions. Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
