Glade Spring Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation located in the center of small-town Glade Spring, in Washington County, Virginia. Our mission is to proclaim the Good News, teach the Word of God, nurture Christian growth, and minister to the needs of all people in our community and the world. GSBC is made up of a multi-generational congregation committed to carrying out the task of a Great Commission church and staying in step with our SBC and BGAV heritage. GSBC is heavily involved in UPWARD sports ministry, Operation Christmas Child, IMB, NAMB and various other missions and ministries.
GSBC is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor to serve as the shepherd of our church and be present at services and outreach opportunities. He must be a man called by God to preach the Gospel, ordained to the work of the ministry, able and willing to build relationships with our children/youth helping to nurture their growth in Christ, and be a man of the highest Christian character as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 ; Titus 1:5-9
GSBC is offering a competitive compensation package. Use of parsonage is available.
