Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance issues.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials in accordance with site procedures and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
