Immediate Opening For An Hvac Service ManagerImmediate opening for an HVAC service manager for a well-respected, well-established HVAC contractor based in western Suffolk County NY. Majority of work is in the 5 boroughs. Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial HVAC industry required.Hvac Service Manager Duties & Responsibilities May Include:Manage HVAC maintenance and service teams to ensure quality onsiteSchedules direct and provide technical support for HVAC technicians.Understand the sales criteria and hold your team accountable for exceeding revenue goals.Reviews technicians' work to ensure quality meets established standardsOrganize training and ongoing support for install teamsRecruits, interviews, hires and trains HVAC technicians as required to meet workload demands.Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety ActComplying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirementsAbility to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operationsHvac Service Manager Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalentlyHVAC service manager experienceUnderstanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heatingReliable and self-motivatedExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsProficient in reading schematics and work plansAbility to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no noticeWorking knowledge of boiler systemsAbility to work in confined spacesCurrent HVAC technician licenseValid driver's licenseStrong comp salary commensurate with experience
