Data Scientist II

Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams, the full-time salaried Data Scientist II will define success metrics, drive evaluation and experimentation, and conduct deep-dive analyses to shape product strategy and inform decision-making within the MCM Data Science team. Key responsibilities Act as an independent thought partner to product managers, surfacing opportunities and informing roadmap prioritization Establish success metrics for new product initiatives and align frameworks with Product and Engineering before launch Design experiments and evaluation methodologies for product launches, analyzing results to provide actionable recommendations Required qualifications 3+ years of industry experience in data science, analytics, or a related field (or an advanced degree with equivalent applied experience) Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics) Experience partnering with product or business stakeholders, defining success metrics, and running experiments Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience analyzing large-scale datasets Solid foundation in statistics, including experimental design and hypothesis testing
