Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – All Shifts Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center – Bakersfield, CA Salary Range: $40-$45/hr BOE Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time | All Shifts Available Join our dedicated care team at Kern River Transitional Care Center! We are currently hiring compassionate and professional Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents. Our mission is to promote healing, wellness, and dignity through skilled and personalized care. What You’ll Do Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best care and support Observe and document symptoms, reporting changes to physicians promptly Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans Perform essential nursing procedures (e.g., vitals, injections, wound care) Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Maintain hygiene and safety protocols across the facility Provide emergency response and support during critical situations Train and supervise LPNs and CNAs as needed Foster a compassionate and respectful environment for residents and families Participate in continuing education and staff development initiatives What We’re Looking For Current and valid RN license in the state of California Proven experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or hospital settings preferred Strong understanding of nursing care practices and emergency response Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skillsTeam-oriented, empathetic, and dependable Committed to following safety and infection control standards Why Join Kern River Transitional Care Center?
