Bring your expertise in audiology to a vibrant and supportive educational environment, working with Pre-K through 12th-grade students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH). This full-time contract role, with flexibility for those seeking fewer hours, is perfect for professionals passionate about making a difference in students’ lives. Beginning as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, ensuring students have access to the critical support they need.

In this role, your focus will be on conducting thorough audiology assessments, generating detailed reports, and providing ongoing consultations and feedback for staff. You’ll become a trusted resource across multiple campuses, working closely with a small Pre-K caseload and expanding to other age groups as new needs are identified. Building relationships and sharing your expertise will be a key aspect of your daily work.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
• Active professional state licensure to practice audiology in Kansas.
• Valid audiology license issued by the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or equivalent state credentialing.
• Experience serving school-aged children, especially within the DHH population, is highly valued.
• Willingness to support multiple campuses.
• Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audiological evaluations and produce comprehensive reports for DHH students.
• Routinely consult with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and staff.
• Offer guidance to ensure learning accommodations and optimal auditory access.
• Travel between school campuses as needed.
• Prioritize and support a growing caseload with compassion and expertise.
