Slitter Operator

At Fres-co, Slitter Operators play a key role in delivering finished product that meets customer specifications and quality standards. In this position, you will prepare slit rolls for shipment by operating slitting equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation. Your attention to detail and focus on safety help ensure our customers receive high quality flexible packaging on time. What You Will Do Set up and operate slitting equipment, including hanging master rolls and adjusting tension and contact controls Perform visual inspections and quality checks on slit material Pull required samples, label materials, and enter quality data into systems Identify, splice out, and remove non-conforming material and place material on hold when required Complete production, quality, and shipping paperwork accurately Prepare slit rolls for shipment in accordance with customer and quality requirements Access and use email, intranet, and quality databases as part of daily work Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety, quality, and plant policies and report unsafe conditions immediately Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training activities Work overtime as needed to meet business demands Perform other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, training provided Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow standard work procedures and make sound decisions Basic computer skills including email and data entry Ability to work effectively in a team environment Willingness to learn, adapt, and support process improvements Reliable attendance and punctuality Why Join Fres-co Stable shift schedule Hands on training and skill development Opportunity to grow within finishing and manufacturing operations Team oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and respect Equal Opportunity Statement Fres-co System USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V).
