Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team in a Locum capacity to support inpatient hospitalist coverage within a reputable Gastroenterology department. The provider will be responsible for outpatient procedures and hospital-based care, working closely with Sacred Heart and Holy Family facilities. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.


Schedule:

• Coverage Type: Inpatient with potential outpatient procedures
• Schedule: Clinical hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call: None
• Dates of Need: Starting 08/03/2026, ongoing until a permanent provider is hired
• Provider Minimum Shifts: 14 per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day
• Overtime Hours: Apply after 40 hours per week

Credentials:

• Current CV required
• License: Active or IMLC
• DEA: Yes
• Boards: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Skills/Certifications: GI Fellowship completed
• Additional Requirements: None

Additional Details:

• Must have completed GI Fellowship
• Looking for one experienced GI provider for a hospitalist role
• Ideal candidate will have availability of at least 2 weeks per month for potential 2on/2off schedule
• Opportunity for permanent placement if a good fit
• No nights or weekends; weekday coverage only

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
