This inpatient facility is part of a large hospital system serving a metropolitan area, maintaining the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing day shift and 24-hour cardiovascular coverage with in-house call responsibilities. APP support and clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period.

Jacksonville, Florida offers clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The area features beaches, paddleboarding, surfing, mountain biking, and wildlife sanctuaries including the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. Additional options include museums, art galleries, escape rooms, go-kart racing, and diverse dining and shopping districts, as well as waterfront experiences such as boat tours and electric bike tours, providing accessible leisure opportunities throughout the assignment period.

The schedule is Monday - Friday from 8a-5p. Weeknight call is 1-2 nights per week and there will be one weekend of 24hr weekend call per month.
