What ties it all together are the friendly faces you’ll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable.**What will you do in this job?*** Assist in management of all aspects of housekeeping operations: scheduling, ordering, inventory, discipline, etc* Communicate with Front Desk and General Management to ensure arriving guest rooms are clean and prepared* Ensure staff spaces are clean and sanitized* Invest in housekeeping team through training and teaching* Maintain quality control through room inspection* Assist team with cleaning and preparing rooms when necessary* Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor* Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets* Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed* Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job dutiesThis job description describes at a high level what an Assistant Housekeeping Manager does, but no document can anticipate every single task, issue or project that could come up.
