Employment & Labor Relations Associate (2+ yrs.) - Chicago

Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a team-oriented Employment & Labor Associate to join its sophisticated Employment & Labor practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and an interest in, or experience handling, management-side employment counseling and litigation matters. Experience with wage and hour collective and class action litigation is a plus. Responsibilities Advise employers on a broad range of employment law matters. Represent management in employment-related litigation and dispute resolution. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Collaborate with attorneys and clients on strategic employment and labor matters. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of employment and labor law experience. Experience with, or strong interest in, management-side employment counseling and litigation. Wage and hour collective and class action experience preferred. Outstanding academic and professional credentials. Superior research, writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
